summary:
The Ocean World Life Surveyor (OWLS) is an integrated, portable, and autonomous life detection instrument which will be used to find, detect and verify life on ocean worlds such as Europa, Enceladus, Titan, and Ceres. OWLS will have the capability to detect life at a cellular and molecular level using mass spectrometry, separation science, high-resolution microscopy, machine learning, and automation.
My goal was to communicate not only how OWLS will operate but what do these ground-breaking capabilities offer, how will they benefit science and how will OWLS further space exploration. I developed a video as a part of my strategy to communicate in as concise as possible what this instrument is capable of. All footage and audio were recorded by me along with the animations and editing.
instrument & product photography.
A large part of the OWLS suite was made via additive manufacturing. In order to further this technology, the team must develop external partners to help produce the parts in a more efficient manner. Generating product photography of the parts necessary was essential to communicating to the public in hopes to develop business partnerships.
communication decks.
The team conducted numerous presentations where I developed and managed their content and execution.
